Weekly Wind-Up #2261 2261 ? 13 August 2026 HAMPTON (HMP) The Jolly Coopers, 16 High St, TW12 2SJ A return visit to The Jolly Coopers, a Grade II listed building dating back to the 18th century which has been run by Nick and Jane since 1986. At least three varying real ales are offered, with a dark option requested for our visit this evening. Food is also available in 'Squiffy's Restaurant'. The pub is a 12 minute walk from Hampton station.

Weekly Wind-Up #2262 2262 ? 20 August 2026 SOLE STREET (SOR) The Cock, Henley Street, Luddesdown, DA13 0XB ? A second visit to this remote pub which has been under the same ownership for over forty years! A proudly traditional rural free house dating from the early 18th century with two distinct bars, a large conservatory and a separate function room. Meeting place for local clubs and societies, with traditional pub games including bar billiards and several forms of darts. The pub has six real ales, usually including Goachers mild, although no food is available. The pub opens at 16:00, and is reached by a footpath across the field from Sole Street station (hourly service) The short walk is virtually parallel to the railway.

Weekly Wind-Up #2263 2263 ? 27 August 2026 BEXLEYHEATH (BXH) Robin Hood & Little John, 78 Lion Road, DA6 8PF A second visit to this frequent CAMRA branch Pub of the Year and London regional winner three times. 2020 also marked 40 years of the Johnson family running the pub, which will open an hour early for us at 16:30. Up to 6 cask ales are available, usually including a Bexley brewery example. No food available. The nearest station is Bexleyheath.

Weekly Wind-Up #2264 2264 ? 3 September 2026 TUNBRIDGE WELLS (TBW) Halfway House, Brenchley and Royal Oak, 92 Prospect Rd, TN2 4SY ?? For our annual visit to the 'Halfway House' we have a bus new to the Wind Up. This also means that we will pick up from Tunbridge Wells and will have an afternoon visit. There should be enough capacity, but please use this link to give an indication of numbers. The bus will depart from the bus stop in Mount Pleasant Road (main road in front of the station, down side) at 12:15 - don't be late! Mild has been requested to accompany the good range of local and national guest beers, which are always on tap. The beer dispense is gravity, through extended pipes from the cold room. Food will also be available from the normal menu until 14:30. We hope to visit a second pub before terminating at the Royal Oak for the evening, which we last visited in 2019. Beers here are mainly from Kent and Sussex breweries and a mild has been requested for us. No food here, but you are welcome to bring your own. The bus will leave us at the Royal Oak at around 17:00. It's a 12 minute walk to Tunbridge Wells station - See map. The red line indicates a walking route via the park (Calverley Grounds) which will save a bit of time.
